Our History

Social Media 4G are a digital marketing and communications agency that specialise in training, coaching and mentoring with SME businesses and small charities.
SM4G was founded by Jonathan Gilbert who has a professional background in economic development, management consultancy and leadership and management in the UK voluntary sector. Prior to SM4G, he was involved in a number of digital marketing projects which informed the development of the business.
We started trading in August 2014 and have already supported over 50 clients. In late 2014 we were appointed as a Growth Mentor on the Boost Business Lancashire programme and in Summer 2015 we were appointed as an Enhance Mentor for Lloyds Bank Foundation. In Summer 2016 UK online centres appointed us a Network Trainer.

Kiaja Monk | Social Media Consultant | 10 years experience of social media, specialising in Facebook, Instagram & Snapchat
Afzal Ali | Graphic Designer | Afzal is a graphic designer, illustrator & digital artist and can assist with logo design and other graphic design needs
John Wilson | Charities Consultant | John is a charities specialist with particular expertise in learning, funding and quality assurance
John Rainey | Management Consultant | John is internationally experienced & PLC trained with repeated success in turnaround and strategic change management
Paul Norris | Customer Service Specialist | Paul has over 30 years experience with customer-facing projects including high street names
